Green Beans with Bacon.

Green Beans with Bacon

This is a yummy and EASY way to use up fresh green beans! Not that I have any ready in the garden yet ( thank you bunnies) but the sales have been good. :) Perhaps you have fresh green beans in YOUR garden. Lucky duck. :)

1lb. fresh green beans, washed with ends trimmed, cut into bite size pieces
1T olive oil
1T balsamic
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
salt and pepper to taste

Cook green beans in large pot in steamer basket with about 2 inches of water and lid on securely for about 15 minutes, or until green beans are tender. Drain. In bowl, toss green beans, bacon, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper. Serve.
